RS-232
SECURE WIRELESS
SIGNAL
The wireless modem provides a secure wireless link between the access
controller (DKS 1833, 1834, 1835, 1837, 1838) and the programming PC
and can eliminate the need for dial-up programming. The wireless modem
converts the RS-232 signal to a secure 900 MHz wireless signal, and back to
a RS-232 signal at the other end. The wireless modem is ideal in applications
where running an RS-232 connection between the controller and PC is not
practical or possible, or an internet connection is not available.
